Asset Audit with Barcode
I'm not sure if CFA is the same, but VICSES issue a unique barcode that matches the asset number for every peice of equipment registered in the state asset database (including for unit owned operational equipment). Having the ability to do an asset audit using a phone camera to scan barcodes without having to create QR code stickers to go with every asset would be a huge advantage. Happy to provide some sample photos of the barcode stickers if required - we have 2 types of barcode stickers in use at our unit - the state issued stickers, and a local barcode sticker that uses internal asset numbers for things not in the state system.I would imagine the work flow could be something like -> Start an Audit -> Scan a barcode -> looks up matching barcode (in ses it could be the asset number from your units asset list in stationone - or a new field for barcode number) -> marks it as verified by the signed in member (either in the public portal or signed in) in the asset list-> option to continue scanning assets to do multiple items at once.

No, not aware of any other services at this stage that are issued unique barcodes. We are working on a NFC/QR code quick access feature for assets and equipment though. Can you email me some photos of your barcodes, it should be fairly easy to implement.
